Dancover A/S is a leading European e-commerce company within tent and storage solutions for the private and professional market.

The company has a broad product range and sells directly to both B2B and B2C customers globally, of which Europe is the primary market.

In addition to tents and party accessories, Dancover has a large selection of greenhouses, garden pavilions, professional storage tents, garden sheds, car and boat garages, terrace equipment, etc.

Dancover has approx. 70 employees and an EBITDA of approx. 25 mio. kr.

Dancover has experienced significant growth, and the sellers therefore now wanted a partner who can support the continued growth and development.

Following a sale process with several potential buyers, the choice fell on the private equity fund Capidea. A foreign industrial buyer also came a long way in the process, but in the end, the offer from Capidea was the best for the sellers. Capidea is the new majority owner, but the sellers Lene and Henrik Boserup-Wedam will remain significant co-shareholders and continue in the management. John Thomas, who has extensive experience with growth companies, will be the new chairman of the board and will also join as a co-owner.

Capidea is a Danish private equity fund that makes long-term investments in competitive small and medium-sized Danish companies with potential for growth within industry, trade, distribution, IT and service. Capidea was established in November 2006 and has made investments in 24 companies with a total turnover of almost DKK 7 billion.
