The hosting company Xtracon A / S has been sold to the Norwegian IT company ECIT AS. Xtracon has main activities within ERP hosting, Dynamics AX, Dynamics NAV and MS Sharepoint, but also sells service contracts, consulting services, hardware and software. ECIT is a Scandinavian IT-group with business areas within IT operations, accounting and consulting.
Xtracon has approx. 150 customers consisting of a number of larger and smaller companies and larger organizations with a total of approx. 12,000 daily users. Xtracon uses its own hosting equipment located in a Danish server park. Operating income is stable at approx. 4 million DKK per year. The company has approx. 7 employees incl. the company’s owner Henrik Mølvig, who remains as a minority shareholder and CEO of the company.
ECIT, which owns a number of other Danish companies, has strengthened its operations in hosting and IT operations with the acquisition of Xtracon. Sesam Partners implemented a structured sales process with a number of interested buyers from the industry.
