DrivhusEffekten has been sold to Solar A / S and will continue as a subsidiary of the Solar Group.
DrivhusEffekten is the largest contractor of photovoltaic plants and has build a number of the country’s largest commercial solar installations. The company was established in 2007 by Hans Andersen and Bjarne Rasmussen whom, together with the about 20 other employees, will continue in the company.
Solar A/S’ has a turnover of more than 10 billion kr. annually and has for nearly two years had a close cooperation with DrivhusEffekten on major turnkey projects of solar PV. According to co-founder and CEO, Bjarne Rasmussen, Solar A/S is the right company to develop DrivhusEffekten further; “At DrivhusEffekten we are really happy for the sale to Solar, as it gives us an excellent foundation to be even sharper at what we do best: To deliver the highest performing solar plants with the best service to our current and future customers.”
There is still considerable growth opportunities in the project market, and here Solar believes, that they can strengthen the company significantly: “Solar sees clear potential in renewable energy, and therefore we are pleased to lead this company forward and really grab the project market together with our electrical contractor-customers. There is in these years increased activity and increased focus on climate and energy, and Solar already offers energy efficient solutions in particular solar cells, but also heat pumps, heating technology and ventilation”says Jens Andersen, Managing Director of Solar Denmark.
