C.C. Hansen A/S has since 1912 been the producer of clothes pegs. Initially in Denmark, and since the 1980s in China. Today the company is a leading supplier to the Danish and European retailers of clothes pegs, washing brushes, microfiber cloths, gloves and many other products in the cleaning category. C.C. Hansen has its own office in China.
Eastport ApS. was established in 2009 and has been the market leader in a narrow product range consisting of primarily wet wipes and zip bags.
The acquisition of Eastport gives C.C. Hansen gravity within the purchased categories and access to new customer segments. All employees will continue in C.C. Hansen. The former owner of East Post, Kurt Sorensen continues as Sales Director C.C. Hansen, where he will be responsible for developing the overall business.
The combined company has 18 employees.
