Wallkö A/S, the former Wall Thürmer A/S has been sold til Mr. Jeppe Frandsen. Wallkö is Denmark’s largest manufacturer and wholesaler of masonry, metal and wood drills for professionals. The company was founded in 1973 and serves today a wide range of the country’s largest tool stores and building centers for artisans, including Carl Ras, Bygma, XL Byg and Solar.
Mr. Jeppe Frandsen graduated with a MBA from Erasmus and has many years of management experience from Danfoss, VIKING Life-Saving Equipment and Unisteel Brdr. Lund.
Wallkö has for some years been living in a management vacuum, and Jeppe Frandsen will now exercise some of the significant growth opportunities for the company. All employees will continue under the new owner.
The seller is Bjørn Thürmer, whose family has since 1898 produced thread cutting tools for industrial and professional use. This activity is owned today by Bjørn Thürmers son Erick Thürmer in Thürmer Tools.
Sesam Partners advised the seller throughout the sales process and introduced the buyer for Bjørn Thürmer.
Sparekassen Sjælland has funded the buyer.
